It has a variable speed dial for optimum results depending on the application, and is suitable not only for sanding wood, painted or varnished surface, but also for sanding metal and polishing. Standard delivery includes a microfilter dust box, and the dust port can alternatively be connected on to a dust extractor or vacuum cleaner for direct dust extraction.
